We met in college at Texas State and began dating in 2013. Our love of adventure, our friends, and good music brought us closer over time. More specifically, our local coffee shop had a Bluegrass night every Wednesday. We went out to enjoy the night as friends and after dancing around our feelings, we ended the night beginning our next greatest adventure. Three years later, Jill said yes to Andrew at Tombstone Ridge in Rocky Mountain National Park. When it was time to begin planning the wedding, we played around with the idea of having a traditional wedding. We toured a couple of venues, even almost put down a deposit, but nothing felt right. The more we considered what would go into the big day, Jill was stressed out by the thought of coordinating flowers, tablecloths, and seating charts. We both wanted our day to be private and really focused on the heart of marriage: commitment. Our life together has always been full of adventure and it made sense that our wedding day would have elements of the great outdoors. We spend a lot of time in RMNP, and Andrew proposed there as well, so in the end, we knew it was the perfect place to say “I do” in front of our closest family and friends.
