We went here on our first date! They have free entry and a nice lawn if you want to snack outside in the sun!

Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA)

Take a walk along (and over) the James to Belle Isle. Then take a dip in the river!

Shop around the cute (mostly) independent stores in Carytown. It's a great place to grab a bite and is a short walk from the VMFA.

Maymont is a 100-acre historic estate and park with multiple themed gardens (Japanese, Italian, etc.), an arboretum, native wildlife habitats, a nature center (great for kids!) and the historic Maymont Mansion all in the middle of the city!
