Answer

The reception is on Thursday, July 11, 2024. It will follow the wedding ceremony. The location is at Foster's Clambakes and Catering at 5 Axholme Road, York, Maine 03909.

Where do I park?

Answer

There is limited parking at the Reserve where the ceremony will take place. It's only 2 hour, metered parking and cannot be guaranteed to be available. Since this is the case, we are providing a trolley service. Please park at the reception venue (Foster's Clambakes and Catering) by 11:00 AM. The trolley will provide transportation to and from the two properties.

What is the attire?

Answer

We are describing the attire as Summer/beach/casual. We want you to be comfortable and it is not necessary to wear your finest dresses and suits. Since we are not asking a specific or strict dress code, some ideas were given to us by our venues based on previous events held with them. Think casual Summer dress/skirt, nice shorts and blouse for women. Perhaps men would be comfortable in a button down and nice pants or shorts. Keep in mind that our ceremony is outside close to the shore. We are keeping our fingers crossed for the best possible weather. It could be very warm, but also very breezy. Our reception will be held both indoors and outdoors. The inside room is air conditioned. Bottom line is be comfortable and dress for the season/weather. We don't care what you where, only that you are there!

Can I take pictures and/or videos?

Of course! We would love for you to capture your favorite parts of the day. We do ask that you keep your phones on silent during the ceremony. Please stay seated during the ceremony to allow for our photographer to be where he needs/wants to be.

What is the RSVP date?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 1, 2024. The guests invited are those who are named on the envelope containing the invitation. Please provide an RSVP for both those attending as well as those not attending. Will there be food?

Answer

YES! Appetizers, both stationary and passed, will be available as guests and the wedding party begin to arrive. A dinner buffet will begin around 4 PM. Selections include salad, soup, bread, main courses with surf and turf options, and sides. Don't forget sweets and treats!

There will be a full cash bar available.
