I'm flying In for the wedding. Which airport is closest to the venue?
Answer
The closest airport is Reno/Tahoe International. It's about an hour from South Lake Tahoe. The next closest and sometimes cheaper airports are Sacramento and San Francisco International. Sacramento is 2 hours away and San Francisco International is 4+ hours away.
Question
How can I get from the airport to Tahoe and to/from the wedding venue?
Answer
The easiest way to get from the airport to Tahoe is by car. However, there may be shuttles available if you'd like to go without. Because of the pandemic, things are constantly changing so we suggest looking at the following website https://www.renoairport.com/tofrom-airport/shuttles to check what is available, All of our wedding events are in close proximity to each other so a car is not necessary to get around if you are only in town for the wedding. Uber, Lime, and local taxi companies are available. If you are planning to rent a car, try to coordinate with others to save on cost and emissions!

I'm worried about Covid-19. What precautions are you taking to decrease the risk of Covid-19 at your events?
Answer
The safety and health of our guests is incredibly important to us and we are doing everything in our power to protect from Covid-19 related risk and stress. We are working with the venues and vendors to ensure that everyone is taking significant precautions. Friday night's event will be fully outside on a roof deck. The wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will also be entirely outside. The meal and reception after the wedding will be in the club house in a mixed indoor/outdoor space. The main room has one wall lined with open windows and one wall (of sliding glass doors) fully open to the outside to allow for maximum ventilation. Additionally, the wedding will likely be no more than 50 people and the venue is requiring that all guests either be fully vaccinated or have proof of a negative Covid-19 test from within 48 hours of the event.
