We're Getting Married

Every great love story starts somewhere- ours began with a swipe. We met on Bumble and decided to meet up for our first date at Denny’s. I was starving, so I ordered a breakfast skillet and devoured the whole thing. Andrew was very impressed. (and maybe a little bit in awe and sad that he couldn't get a bite). True love? Probably. At the very least, he knew I was the real deal. From that moment, we knew we had something special. Fast forward through lots of laughs, adventures, late-night snacks, and four adorable fur babies later… we found ourselves on a “casual” hike with our doggy girls. I had no idea what was to come-I truly thought we were just out for fresh air and cute dog pics. I found the cutest little lizard along the trail and instantly decided he was my new best friend. I refused to let him go. Like, seriously, I was holding him in my left hand the entire way up the mountain. At the top, with an incredible view behind us and our dogs at our feet, Andrew told me how much he loved me and that he wanted to spend forever together. Then he got down on one knee and proposed-while I was still clutching the lizard like a tiny, scaly good luck charm. Of course I said YES!! (eventually putting the lizard down… after some convincing). From a Bumble match and a skillet breakfast to a mountaintop proposal with a surprise reptilian sidekick, our story has been anything but ordinary-and we wouldn't have it any other way. We can’t wait to make more memories and go on more fun adventures-together.
