Due to the last 2+ years of social distancing, we wanted to share a bit about ourselves for those of you we haven’t had the pleasure yet to meet.
Jackie was born and raised in a south suburb of Denver, Colorado. Growing up, she was a proud theater and speech and debate kid at Kent Denver. Following high school, she went to Philadelphia to attend Villanova University. After graduating with a business degree, she moved to New York City where she lived and worked for three years. Jackie then returned back to the mountain time zone to receive her MBA at the University of Denver. Jackie works in wealth management for institutional non-profits at Bank of America in Nashville. She still loves going to see any type of live performance art, texting her dad about Denver Nuggets basketball, and hosting Bachelor watch parties.
Andrew, otherwise known as Drew, grew up in Cumming, Georgia, just north of Atlanta. In high school, he played basketball, and one snap of football (thank you ACL). With the support of his family, he attended West Point and graduated in the top of his class with an electrical engineering degree. After graduating flight school, Drew was first posted at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, CO, where he met Jackie. He is currently an aviator at Fort Campbell. Drew loves playing pick-up basketball, completing home renovations to their Nashville house, and watching Georgia Tech football.
Andrew and Jackie met on a dating app shortly after he had returned from Afghanistan, and it was love at first swipe! After texting for a few days, he offered to drive over an hour to Denver for their first date at Avanti, in LoHi. A few weeks later, Drew took Jackie to a Rockies vs. Braves baseball game, and the rest is history. Over the course of two years, the two of them put thousands of miles on their cars with their weekly Colorado Springs to Denver roundtrips, and neither of them would have changed a thing. In June 2021, Andrew popped the question in Grand Lake, CO and their forever began. The last three years have been filled with travel to foreign countries, homemade pizza nights, Survivor marathons, Georgia Tech football, and their bernedoodle Nova, just to name a few. Both the bride and the groom feel so lucky to be merging such wonderful family and friends. They are so thankful for you all and can't wait to celebrate. Now let's get them married!
