When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 1 so that we have an accurate headcount for our caterer.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We encourage our guests to reach the venue using cab, ride share, or public transport, especially if you plan to enjoy the open bar with us! For guests that prefer to drive, complimentary valet parking is available at Barrel House.

Are kids welcome?

While we love kids, our wedding reception is an adults-only event.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Plan to arrive at Barrel House around 5:30 pm so you can enjoy our cocktail hour and optional guided group tours of the Barrel House facility. Dinner will begin promptly at 6:45.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We're not too fancy! Think casual cocktail or garden attire. August in Chicago is usually hot and humid, but our reception will be in an indoor, air-conditioned space. No jeans, shorts, sneakers, or T-shirts, please!

When you RSVP, you will also have the option to RSVP for any guests included in your invitation.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Food will be served buffet style and will include options for most common dietary restrictions, such as vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free. There is no pork on the menu.
