Our favorite hike in Sedona is called Devil's Bridge but other hiking trails include Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, Loy Canyon Trail and Coffee Pot Trail. All have beautiful views but make sure to bring plenty of water. Other outdoor excursions include the famous Pink Jeep tours, horseback riding, and ATV tours. The town of Sedona offers numerous restaurants, shops and art galleries in the Uptown Mall and Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village. Sedona is also home to several local wineries and vineyards, enjoy flights of wine while gazing out into the horizon of magnificent red rock beauty.
Camelback Mountain is a challenging 2.5 mile out and back hike. It takes on average 2 hours and 13 minuets to complete. There are points in the hike where you have to boulder and the trails are thin. But the views are breathtaking once you reach the top. It is a very popular area for hiking; make sure to wear sunscreen, bring a snack or two and bring plenty of water. The dessert sun isn't all that forgiving!
Downtown Phoenix is a hotspot for restaurants, nightlife, sporting events, museums and entertainment venues. The Arizona Diamondbacks and Phoenix Suns stadiums are located right in the center of downtown Phoenix, nearby many local favorite restaurants. A few of our favorite restaurants include Rough Rider, POMO Pizzeria Napoletana, Octotillo, Chico Malo and the Arrogant Butcher.
Scottsdale is known for its luxurious spa resorts and golf courses. For guests who love to golf, Andrew's favorite courses include TPC Golf Course, McCormick Ranch Golf Course, Starfire Golf Course, Camelback Gold Course and Orange Tree Golf Course. Old Town Scottsdale is the most touristy destination in Scottsdale, with Fashion Square Mall, numerous bars and nightclubs, restaurants, boutiques, and art galleries, all located within a few blocks from each other. A few of our favorite restaurants in Scottsdale include Olive and Ivy, Toca Madera, Diego Pops Rehab Burger Therapy and Geisha A Go Go.
Talking Stick Resort is a fun entertainment venue and casino equipped with a spa, golf course, nightclub and fine dining restaurant. Guests can enjoy a leisurely drink by the pool or take their chances at a poker table. The venue is known to host several concerts and events.
Mavrix is an entertainment destinations featuring 22 bowling lanes, 85 arcade games, a state of the art laser tag arena, billiards tables, dozens of 4K televisions, and a 5,000 square foot restaurant and bar featuring a chef curated menu, craft beers and custom cocktails.
Glendale is a sports and entertainment district with top notch accommodations and a renowned shopping areas. Westgate Entertainment District has shops, restaurants, bars and fun outdoor entertainment including live music on Friday and Saturday evening held in Fountain Park. The Phoenix Coyote Arena and the Arizona Cardinals stadium is in the heart of Westgate and just a few minuets away from each other.
