It all started on a warm summer morning June 6th, 2014. Andrew was opening up the restaurant that he worked at as the assistant manager. That morning, the store phone rang and Fatima asked Andrew to open the door because it was still dark outside. He opened the door for her, and she nervously walked past with a shy "hello". Andrew was expecting to meet his new manager and boss that morning and Fatima was just expecting a busy first day, but what they both didn't know was that they were both on a new path to the rest of their lives.

Trying to make it as unexpected as possible, Andrew wanted to propose on what would seem like an ordinary day. Andrew planned to take the day off of work to run errands with Fatima. Fatima had a meeting at work at eight a.m. that morning so Andrew drove to Fatima's house to take Boston to school. After he made sure that Fatima was gone, Andrew asked Boston for his mother's hand in marriage. While Fatima was still at the meeting, Andrew decorated her house with candles and roses. He waited for her to arrive and they walked into her house together. To her total surprise the love of her life got down on one knee and asked her to spend the rest of her life with him. She said "Of course!".
