Paris in Spring. It had been raining all day and we ducked into a floating restaurant along the River Seine. It was Bistrot Alexandre III, just below the beautiful Ponte Alexandre bridge. The restaurant was ours except for one or two other couples having an early dinner. Zeke ordered mussels and white wine, Andrew had steak and red wine. With the meal done, it was time to pay the bill. We counted our coins, and as the Eiffel Tower lit up in the background, Zeke handed his coins to Andrew, and at the top of the stack was the ring. "Will you marry me?" asked Zeke, and Andrew didn't hesitate to say "YES, of course!" It was no April Fool's joke, it was l'amour.
