Our Story
It all started when Evanne was lost in the woods with her friend, on a backpacking trip. Enter: Andrew...who was also lost.They hiked around in the dark together until Andrew eventually found the campsite. Evanne gave up before then. Fast forward to six months later when Evanne spied Andrew across the room at the Passion conference and recruited her small group to wingman her. After hours of Secret Hitler and manipulating game nights to see each other, they started dating. Andrew and Evanne’s relationship spanned 9 time zones, 6 countries, 3 continents, and 2 years, with a small break in the middle (like every classic youth group couple).They reconnected on a ski trip and have been adventuring together ever since.
Andrew and Evanne are united by their love of travel; their passion for Jesus; their enjoyment of breakfast food; and their obsession with The Acorn (the best thrift store around). Andrew proposed on a snowy sunny day on the ice, and Evanne said yes, before he even asked.
