Let's talk flights and hotels.

Flight

Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (Honolulu Airport)

This is the only airport on O'ahu with regular service from all major airports.

House Or Rental

Turtle Bay (Hotel/Condos)

57-091 Kamehameha Highway, Kahuku, HI 96731

Turtle Bay Resort offers traditional hotel rooms and has some great Airbnb townhomes. Turtle Bay Hotels and Condos have pools, beach access, golf courses, and restaurants. Hotel bookings are found on Turtle Bay's website, while condos are often found on Airbnb.

Hotel

Courtyard by Marriott O'ahu North Shore

55-400 Kamehameha Highway, Laie, HI 96762

This is the closest affordable hotel to our wedding venue. Please note that this town does not sell alcohol, and all shops and restaurants will be closed on Sunday. The nearby towns (Hauula and Kahuku) do sell alcohol, and shops and restaurants are open on Sundays. We are not getting a hotel block for our guests so that you have more freedom to stay where you want.

Travel Note

Waikiki Hotels

If you do not plan on staying on the North Shore, Waikiki has plenty of affordable hotels to choose from. Hale Koa Hotel is a great option for our Military guests, as they offer discounted pricing. We are not getting a hotel block for our guests so that you have more freedom to stay where you want.

Travel Note

Airbnb's

Hawai'i highly regulates Airbnbs, making them harder to find and quite expensive. If you plan to stay in an Airbnb, book ahead of time as they tend to be booked far in advance. Turtle Bay condos on Airbnb are the most accessible and affordable.

Travel Note

Transportation on Wedding Day

Shuttle: We are providing shuttle service to and from our venue on the day of our wedding. We plan to have one pickup/drop off point on the North Shore, and one in Waikiki. Once the locations are finalized, we will update this page. Parking: There are a limited number of parking spots at our venue. If you would like to drive to the venue, please let us know. Uber: There are plenty of ubers in Waikiki, but there are very few ubers on the North Shore. Please do not rely on rideshares to get to and from our venue.

Travel Itinerary

To help make the most time of your trip to Hawai'i, we recommend the following! If you plan to return home for Christmas: 12/18: Arrive in Honolulu, Hawai'i. Most flights land in the evening. 12/19-12/20: Sight see or hit the beach! See our "Things To Do" page for our suggestions. 12/21: Wedding day! 12/22: Sight see and recover from all the fun from the day before! Fly back home this day if you want to be home on 12/23. 12/23: Head to the Airport and depart Hawai'i. Fly back home this day if you want to be home on 12/24. We will be spending Christmas in Hawai'i and would love to visit with you all over the Holidays!

Travel Note

Car Rental

We highly recommend renting a car and driving around O'ahu! There is more to this beautiful island than Waikiki. To make use of your time in Hawai'i, renting a car and driving around the island is the best way to sight see and visit various locations that are highlighted on our "Things to Do" page.

Traffic Considerations

December is a very busy time for the North Shore as it is surf season! In December, Banzai Pipeline hosts the WSL Pipe Masters Surf Competition. If you are able, we highly recommend watching the competition. Pro surfers from all over the world come to compete. This is an amazing event, however, this event brings lots of traffic to the North Shore. Please plan accordingly when traveling around the North Shore.
