Andrew and Elise first met by chance at Saint Anselm College. One Saturday night Elise, fully intending to attend a choir party, stopped by the adjacent townhouse to quickly say hi to friends. Seeing Andrew leaning up against the refrigerator, Elise saw it as the perfect opportunity to introduce herself. The rest of the evening was spent exchanging stories and Elise pressuring Andrew to sing for her. Many more memories were made in the first two years of their relationship as Andrew grew in his post grad career and Elise finished nursing school. The merging of two different experiences and groups of friends from one school shaped the support group Elise and Andrew are grateful for today.
One place that has always held a special place in our hearts is the Kancamagus Highway that runs through the White Mountains. October of 2016 we went for a leaf peeping drive where we began our relationship. Four years later we revisited to celebrate our anniversary by hiking Mount Potash. Andrew so cleverly used reaching the summit of that mountain as a metaphor for the many summits we've climbed together so far. And Elise said yes to climbing many more! Hiking down the mountain as fiancés, Andrew had another surprise waiting at home. When we arrived home, our friends and family were there waiting to celebrate with us. It was overwhelming to be able to share our engagement with loved ones. And now we can't wait to celebrate our marriage with all of you!
