Downtown Skaneateles has tons of restaurants and shops (along with the lake), but we wanted to share a few more ideas of unique things to do for guests unfamiliar with the area!

Anyela's Vineyards

1911 distillery and cidery and apple picking about 15 minutes away from Skaneateles.

Beak & Skiff / 1911 Tasting Room

Mirbeau Spa

Park with unique glacial lakes about 40 min away. You can rent boats, swim, hike the trails, or golf, and has a nice restaurant overlooking the golf course.

Green Lakes State Park

Even though it's a bit further than Cayuga (1 - 1.5 hours), we'll usually make the extra drive since most of our favorite vineyards are on the west side of Seneca. We love Hermann J. Weimer, Lakewood, Anthony Road, the Belhurst, and Fox Run. On the east side, we'd recommend Standing Stone.

Seneca Lake Wine Trail

The Cayuga wine trail is just about 40 min from Skaneateles, on the east side of the lake.
