GOD works in mysterious ways, Daysha and I are a testimony to that, it was faith that we met that night through a mutual friend that we did not know we had. We met on a night where all the stars were aligned perfectly in the sky. On this special night, I was supposed to go out with a couple of friends but something was pushing me to go out alone instead. After reaching my destination I saw her from across the room and on that night my life changed (which ironically she saw me). After we took notice of each other she asked her friend about me and her friend told the mutual friend. A little while later, unknowingly to her, I was approached by our mutual friend to meet her. Before I could meet her, I had to pass a test right there on the spot (which was a series of questions, let just say I passed). The mutual friend and I went back over to where she was, her back was turned at the time when she turned around we both locked eyes. After that, we never left each other side. Little did we know that we were destined to spend the rest of our lives together..............the rest is history.

I woke up this particular morning not feeling excited even though it was my birthday because I was off from work, yet I had to go in for a quick meeting. Andrew explained he was going to drive me to work and he was not taking no for an answer. After my meeting, he took me to PF Changs to eat, then shopping for my birthday outfit to one of my favorite stores. After shopping he let me know that he had reserved a place for us to have dinner and he would like me to wear my birthday outfit. Later that night when I saw him I thought he looked especially handsome. He would not tell me where we were going only that it was a surprise. We drove up to Copper's Hawk a restaurant I wanted to try. As we walked into the establishment and he was very talkative this night. Anyone who knows him knows he is a man of little words. I thought to myself maybe he's nervous that everything will go as plan for my birthday. While we are sitting at the table eating dinner he said, I prayed to God to send me a woman like you. You are beautiful, kind and most of all a praying woman. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love you more than life and I can never see you leaving my side. He stood up from his seat, walked over to me and leaned in for a kiss. When I opened my eyes he was on one knee... He said Daysha Renee McBride, will you be my wife? I said, Yes! This was the first word to the beginning of our forever
