We met during the summer at Camp Pearl when we were both camp counselors. Andrew and I hardly talked to each other at first. We both thought each other didn't like the other for some reason, but it was actually because we were crushing on each other pretty hard. Andrew finally got up the courage to tell me he, "thought I was pretty cool and wanted to get to know me better", and the rest is history!

Andrew and I had been wanting to take a trip to Baton Rouge and tour some of the plantations there for a while. We finally set a date to go. We planned to do a little shopping, and then have a picnic while we were at Oak Alley Plantation. Andrew led me down the long walkway lined with beautiful, old oak trees and set up his tripod to get a picture of us. When I turned around he was standing there with a ring. I said yes of course! We then proceeded the six hour drive home due to traffic and were late to the surprise engagement party Andrew had planned for us. To our surprise everyone was still there and we were so thankful! We are beyond blessed, and cannot wait to celebrate our big day with all of y'all!
