What is the dress code?

Answer

The official dress-code is "Semi-Formal" or "Cocktail" attire. We want everyone to be comfortable! When choosing your outfit, use your discretion. If you are unsure, feel free to reach out to us and ask.

What time should I arrive on Saturday?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM, so please make sure to arrive at Bear Creek by 4:00 PM, so you can find a seat and don’t miss a single moment!

Where can I stay besides the venue?

Answer

If you would prefer to stay somewhere besides the block reserved at Bear Creek Mountain Resort, we also have a block of rooms at the Homewood Suites Allentown West. If neither of these options work for you there are also a number of hotels in the same area as the Homewood Suites, including: Fairfield Inn and Suites (Marriot) Allentown West; Hilton Garden Inn Allentown West; Delta Hotels (Marriot) Allentown/Lehigh Valley; Comfort Inn Lehigh Valley West; Hawthorn Suites (Wyndham) Allentown/Fogelsville; Sleep Inn Allentown/Fogelsville; and Allentown Park Hotel, Ascend Hotel Collection.

How do I get from the Homewood Suites to Bear Creek Mountain Resort before the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a complementary shuttle service that will make TWO trips before the ceremony. The first shuttle will leave the hotel at 2:30 and arrive at Bear Creek at 3:00. The second shuttle will leave the hotel at 3:30 and arrive at Bear Creek at 4:00. After the reception, there will again, be TWO shuttle trips back to the Homewood Suites. You may also make your own arrangements using Uber, Lyft, or a taxi service, but their availability may not be guaranteed.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

We would prefer you mail the RSVP card that came with your invitation, but you may also RSVP through our website. Please make sure your name is either on the card or the envelope before returning it! Your RSVP should include WHO is coming, WHAT you will be eating, and if you have any dietary restrictions that the caterers should know about!

When do I need to RSVP by?

We ask that you RSVP by April 20, 2023! We would prefer you respond as soon as possible, so we can finalize reception details! If you need to change your RSVP, please reach out to either Danika or Andrew directly.

What are my food options?

Answer

There will be 6 hors d'oeuvres available during cocktail hour: Miniature Beef Wellingtons, Bacon Wrapped Scallops (GF), Warm Artichoke & Cheese Beignet (Vegetarian), Raspberry & Brie in Phyllo (Vegetarian), French Onion Boulle (Vegetarian), and Vegan Caponata Star (Vegan, GF). The salad will be a mixed greens salad, and seasonal vegetables. The entree choices are: Grilled Salmon, with Blackberry BBQ and seared pineapple (can be GF); Grilled Top Sirloin Steak, with red wine demi-glace (can be made GF) and a Butternut Squash Ravioli (Vegetarian). The available sides will be whipped garlic mashed potatoes and Broccolini. For dessert, we will have a Vegan cake, chocolate and vanilla, with an almond vanilla cream cheese frosting. We will also have another dessert bar, provided by the venue, which is TBA. If you have ANY dietary restrictions, please let us know either by noting it on your RSVP, or contacting one of us directly!

I'm traveling by plane. Which airports can I fly into?

Answer

You can fly into Newark International Airport (NJ), Trenton-Mercer Airport (NJ), or Philadelphia International Airport (PA). There are also a small number of airlines that fly into the Lehigh Valley International Airport (PA).

Can I bring a date?

Answer

As much as we'd love to say, "The more the merrier!", we have to stay below the reception hall maximum occupancy number. Please refer to the number listed on your RSVP card to see how many seats your invitation includes.

Are kids allowed at the festivities?

Answer

While we love your kids, our wedding is going to be an Adults-Only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can dance the night away with us!
