FAQs

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

There are a variety of great lodging options in Estes Park for wedding guests. Our venue, Black Canyon Inn, offers beautiful on-site suites and condos within walking distance of the ceremony and reception spaces. While we do not have a formal hotel block reserved, guests are welcome to book directly through the venue website if they’d like to stay on property. Additional nearby lodging options include The Stanley Hotel, Estes Park Resort, and many cabins, hotels, and vacation rentals throughout Estes Park. We also recommend searching Airbnb and Vrbo for group houses or mountain cabins nearby. Because Estes Park can book up quickly, especially during peak season, we encourage guests to reserve accommodations early.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes! Complimentary on-site parking is available at Black Canyon Inn for wedding guests. Signs and staff will help direct you upon arrival.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-formal attire is requested. The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, with the reception indoors. Most areas of the venue are paved, though cocktail hour will be held on the grass, so guests may want to plan footwear accordingly. Since we’ll be celebrating in Estes Park, we also recommend bringing layers for the cooler mountain evening temperatures. In the event of severe weather, cocktail hour will be moved indoors.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding ceremony and reception will be an adults-only celebration

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We’re so grateful to celebrate with you. For those who have asked, we’ve included both a traditional registry and the option to contribute to our honeymoon/future fund.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have an open bar to start the evening. Once the hosted tab reaches its limit, the bar will transition to a cash bar for the remainder of the night.
