For years, Crystle would come to New Jersey for the summer, where we swam at the pool, played hide-n-seek, laughed (A LOT), and watched scary movies against my will. She's the sister I've always wanted to have.

Shortly thereafter and in lieu of an ear infection, our friendship was born. After graduation, we went to Marine Combat Training and MOS school where our friendship blossomed. We were both sent to Camp Pendleton for our first duty station, and became best friends. In 2005, we were roommates, but as the military goes, had to go our separate ways. Yet nothing has ever kept us apart.
