FAQs

Question

You will already be married?!

Answer

Yes, Andrew & Christal elected to do a small elopement ceremony with family but that doesn't mean we didn't want to celebrate with everyone. Think of this as an all-night reception and cocktail hour. We'll have lots of music, games and food!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

There's a whole page about this, ya dummy. Go read it.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask you arrive at 5 pm ET. The party goes on until 10 pm ET.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know if you do plan to bring your kids and how many to expect. We have some kid friendly food options and also will have coloring books, cornhole and firepits along the beach. We hope you bring your little ones and make a Florida family vacation out of the trip!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we've booked a block at The Current hotel for a discounted rate. It's where the bride and groom will be staying and where we'll have an after-party. For a link to the discounted block reservations, go to the "travel" tab of our website! The hotels listed there are within walking distance or you can take a very short Uber to the venue.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Parking at the venue is valet only and costs $3. Self-serve free parking is available at Ben T Davis Beach which is right near the venue. However, both of these options are expected to be very popular and there's a good chance you won't get a spot! We HIGHLY recommend one of these three options: Parking at the former Godfrey Hotel for free. From there to the venue, it's a 5 minute walk on a paved bike path. -- Take a Lyft/Uber if you prefer not to walk. -- Walk from the hotel. It takes about 15 minutes, but the first 5 minutes are along a not-so-busy road which doesn't have a sidewalk. Be careful!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We plan to serve a variety of small dishes to fit varying dietary restrictions and will also have a chef cooking up some Spanish Paella on the beach. If you have an allergy or dietary restriction we should know about, please let us know!

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes, we've got all the beer, wine, and seltzers you can drink! There will also be several specialty cocktails that we hope you will partake in with us! And if Christal has enough of those specialty drinks, she'll probably buy everyone a round of shots by 9pm.

Question

What kind of bread should I bring to feed the seagulls?

Answer

HAHAHA, you're so funny. But NO! Please do not feed the seagulls and please prevent your kids from doing the same. We are super serious and these demon birds will harass us all night long if folks don't follow the rules.
