The story of Cassidy and Andrew began in the halls of South Carroll High School. Though they had known each other, it wasn’t until December 2015 that their friendship blossomed into something more. That senior year for Andrew was a whirlwind of memories. From Cassidy cheering in the stands at every one of his basketball games to the pair dancing the night away at senior prom. When college came it tested them by adding some extra distance, with Cassidy staying in Maryland to go to Salisbury and Andrew attending the University of South Carolina it was definitely a test of their relationship but they didn't let the miles slow them down. They stayed inseparable through endless FaceTime calls, care packages and synchronized "watch parties" of their favorite shows. Whether Cassidy was catching a flight to experiencing the energy of a South Carolina tailgate or Andrew was making the long drive home just to see her, they proved that distance was no match for their connection. After graduation, Andrew returned to Maryland to begin his career and be closer to Cassidy. He moved to Baltimore City, and while Cassidy was initially a bit nervous about navigating the city streets, her love for Andrew and eventually for the city itself won out. Once Cassidy graduated, she officially joined Andrew in Baltimore. They settled into an apartment in Canton, where they grew even closer as they embraced city life together. Their duo became a trio in December 2023 when they welcomed Palmer, their beloved puppy, into the family. To say they are "dog people" would be an understatement, Palmer quickly became the center of their world. On June 14th, 2024, Andrew made their beautiful life together official. Surrounded by the scenery of Harbor East and the love of their families, Andrew asked Cassidy to spend the rest of her life with him. They celebrated the "Yes!" that evening at La Scala, their favorite restaurant in the city and a party the following day with all of their friends. Today, Cassidy, Andrew, and Palmer have traded city life for the charm of Ellicott City. Between busy work schedules and the excitement of wedding planning, they are enjoying every moment of this new chapter. They are incredibly grateful to the family and friends who have supported them from those early high school days to the present. Each of you has played a role in their journey, and they cannot wait to celebrate their marriage with the people who mean the most to them!
