Village Creek Bible Camp
At VCBC there are lots of things to do. The area is perfect for hiking, walking, swimming, playing outside, shooting some hoops, or kicking a ball around. Ask one of the staff for some good trail heads or take an adult 18 years or older and go swim. The lake is lovely and just up the hill. Let either the camp staff or someone from the wedding party know if you have any questions. We really want you to take this weekend to enjoy for yourselves. Celebrate with us, but also celebrate the lovely weather and the lovely Iowa bluffs.
Dunnings Spring Park
This is a local favorite. The waterfalls are gorgeous and the hike is a lovely, short thing. This is where we went on our first date also. Maybe you'll find it as romantic as we did.
Horsfall Lansing Variety Store
Many people enjoy going and checking out the small river town of Lansing. Stop by and check out the variety store on Mainstreet or take a walk and enjoy the views. The Lansing Bridge is one of the most beautiful places in Iowa. One our 6-month anniversary, we bought some ice cream from Kwik Trip and parked the car by the river. We were able to enjoy the Bridge all lit up at night. It was so beautiful.
