Andrew and Cara met 12 years ago back in Long Beach Island where both of their families vacationed every summer. Andrew and his brother were riding bikes one night as they passed Cara and her friend walking down the street toward the beach. The boys waved the girls over to come say hello, and once Andrew and Cara met, they immediately connected. Through their constant banter, ragging on one another and laughs, it was evident they really enjoyed each other’s company right off the bat. When their family vacations came to an end, they both went their separate ways, Andrew off to Ursinus for his first year of college and Cara going into her Senior year of high school. As years passed, the two continued down their separate paths both attending different colleges until 3 years later Andrew reached out to Cara on Facebook one day to see what she had been up to. The two picked up right where they left off and immediately knew they wanted to be in each other’s lives for a long time. Though Andrew was going into his Senior year of college at this point and Cara was going to be studying in London, that didn’t stop the two from FaceTiming or texting every day to show the other person how much they missed and cared for them. Upon returning from London, Cara went to Andrew’s graduation where the two knew they really had something special and wanted to make it official. On Cara’s family vacation a few weeks later, Andrew asked Cara to be his girlfriend all in Long Beach Island while watching the sunset where the two first met. It couldn’t have been a better start to their love story, and here they are over 8 years later, ENGAGED! :)
