I joke that Elaina and I are "wombmates" as our parents met at a lamaze class. Our friendship came to fruition in elementary school playing spending every day together playing soccer, putting on productions for our families (and forcing our younger siblings into it), and sledding down the hill at her parents house. We have been inseparable ever since. No matter where I have had to travel for school or life, Elaina has always found her way to visit me and stay by my side.

Antonio and I met at JMU where he became my “big brother” in our fraternity. After college our friendship continued and Antonio asked me to be the best man in his wedding, so of course I had to ask him to return the favor.

Katie and I met in high school through common friends. Joking in our high school Spanish class was only the beginning of our countless memories as Katie went UVA for college, which was only 1 hour away from JMU. She was my home away from home.

Alan is my first cousin, although seeing as how we’re the same age, I often tell people we’re more like brothers. Whether it was karate, baseball, or football, we did almost everything together until we left for college.

Brooke, or "BDawwgg" as I still have her in my phone, is also one of high school besties. Brooke and I's love for Long Island, the beach, and Montauk beers often brought us together for some of my favorite times. As Brooke had also made her way all over to visit me in different places, I finally get to have her close in DC!

John is Caitlin’s little brother. Whether it’s a trip into New York City, a day at the wineries, or a cruise to the Bahamas, John is always a good time.

I met Riley in our Freshmen year doom, Ikenberry Hall (RIP). Riley quickly became my college go-to person for literally anything; advice, to complain, to get Cookout with, and to definitely have some fun. The JMU "drunk wall" would hate to see us coming. Definitely had some separation anxiety once we graduated after living with her for 4 years, but Philly is never too far away for us to continue our shenanigans

Jake Diamond and I met through mutual friends while at JMU and have become close friends since returning home. With Jake being close by on the other side of Chester we’re always coming up with new ways to terrorize the neighborhood.

Rachel was first my "big sister" in my sorority, Delta Gamma. Rachel and I became close friends through all our of sorority functions, Jalepeños dates, and being roommates. Thankfully, my adventures with Rachel got to continue as she also lived in Boston when I was there for OT school. I don't know how I would've survived college or grad school without her!

Taylor and I met with him being a cousin of the best man Antonio, as well as a childhood friend of other groomsmen. What started with weekend trips to visit Taylor at Hampden Sydney turned into many of nights out on the town of Richmond

Hope and I met at our first job in the rehab department at Select Specialty Hospital. She was one of the first friends I had made on my own in Richmond and is someone I can always count on

Declan and I also met as fraternity brothers at JMU. We quickly figured out we had very similar interests, but most importantly that we both love the band Widespread Panic. To date we have seen widespread four times together and will surely see them together again in the future.

Emily and I met through our then boyfriends (now husband and soon-to-be husband) Antonio and Andrew. We have been on many double dates and couples vacations, and quickly became friends outside of this! Emily is someone I can always turn to for advice. I also started my running journey with Emily as she encouraged me to run the Monument Ave 10k with her. Later that year, we went on to run the Richmond Half Marathon together!

Michael and I met through our mutual friend, and groomsmen, Sam Schaidhammer. With Michael and Sam becoming roommates a couple years into our time at JMU, Michael and I quickly became friends and found that we had similar tastes in beer and music.

Gina and I met through Andrew as she is his best friend's cousin and a member of their Richmond friend group. She always welcomed me with kindness before I really got to know any of Andrew's other friends. Since moving to Richmond, Gina has been a constant source of fun and friendship for me

Luke and I met through his older brother and groomsmen, Michael. While at JMU, Luke and I found that we shared similar hobbies such as cars, guns, concerts, and anything else that made a lot of noise.

Charlie and I met through Andrew as he is good friends with her boyfriend, Taylor. Charlie lives just down the street from our first house together, and once we met, we were always looking for ways to hang out. Whether it be shopping sprees or trying to make Andrew and Taylor go out to dance with us, we're always having the best time.

Joey and I met through his brother Sam, as well as Michael and Luke. With Joey being close by JMU at Roanoke college, it was not uncommon for him to visit us at JMU or us go to Roanoke for the weekend.

Shelby is Andrew's little sister. During COVID, I was constantly at their house. Shelby and I got to hang out quit a bit during this including bonfires, family trips, and Chik-fil-A trips lunch trips. Now that we have Shleby's daughter, Emerson, she only amplifies our fun times!

Sam and I lived on the same floor in our freshman year dorm room. Sam was always a go-to person as we were in many of the same clubs and did a lot together at JMU. Whether it’s the car club, watching his and Michaels band play, or just hanging out, there is always something to do with Sam

Paul is my current work bestie. We pass the time at work pulling pranks on each other and our coworkers as well as take our hot girl walks to Wawa for lunch.
Thomas Davis

Thomas is my first cousin and with my mom and aunt Rita being so close, we were always together growing up. Whether it was trick or treating, a shopping mall adventure, or a weekend sleepover, it seemed like we were always piling in the back of one of our mom’s Ford Explorer.

Travis and I are also first cousins, him being Alan’s older brother. We grew up going to the racetrack together to watch our dad’s race and have spent countless hours in the shop together over the years.
