Andrew and Brooklyn met in band class in the seventh grade, when Brooklyn switched her instrument to trumpet, and was assigned to sit next to Andrew. They quickly became friends, and their friendship continued for the next three years. In their sophomore year, Andrew had confessed his feelings for Brooklyn and soon after asked her to be his girlfriend on Valentine's Day in 2021. They fell in love quickly and were inseparable. Then, college came and they went to separate colleges; Andrew at Illinois State University and Brooklyn at Southeast Missouri State University. During Brooklyn's first semester, she got involved in a ministry on campus and came to the realization that she was not a genuine Christian. Soon after, the Lord took her out of her sin and saved her in November 2023. Brooklyn told Andrew about this new life change, and he also realized that he was not living a life of genuine repentance and true belief in the gospel. The Lord saved Andrew during the month of December in 2023. From then on, Brooklyn and Andrew's lives and relationship radically changed; they began to love God instead of their sin, and prioritized glorifying the Lord with their lives. Andrew decided to transfer to Southeast Missouri State University to receive the same discipleship from the same ministry. Fast forward to December 5, 2025, and Andrew proposed to Brooklyn at the Trail of Tears state park in their college town, Cape Girardeau, MO. The Lord has done such an amazing work in Brooklyn and Andrew's lives, and they cannot wait to see what He will do through their marriage! All Glory to Christ!
