As it turns out, all it took was a little matchmaking. Brittany’s boss, Charles, and Andrew’s friend, Sarah, decided we should meet, and thankfully, we both agreed. After a quick phone call and a little texting, we went on our first lunch date, which lasted over two hours. We talked so much we almost forgot to order food, which is saying a lot. We took things slow at first, but before long, we were spending all of our time together. Then came the real test, the dogs. Brittany’s dogs, Pepe and Freedia, met Andrew’s dog, Millie. Freedia and Millie became instant sisters, and Pepe, who is known for being indifferent to most dogs, decided Millie could stay… and sometimes even lets her get close. The rest is history, and clearly, Charles and Sarah knew exactly what they were doing.
