What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-Formal attire. For the ladies, think mid-length dresses or separates (blouse/pants). For the men, dress pants and blazer with an optional tie. There will be a short walk between the ceremony location and the cocktail hour/ dinner reception.

Are there special instructions for traveling to the Ceremony/Reception and Parking?

Answer

The Summer House (Clubhouse) at Golden Oak has very limited parking, so we are strongly encouraging guests to stay at the Room Blocks, and utilize provided bus transportation. We will post an itinerary for the pick up and drop off times. For those staying elsewhere or with family, you can also UBER to Golden Oak's Summer House (the name of their Club House). When you order your UBER to pick you up, please tell them to either say they are coming to the Summerhouse or the Foote Wedding. Thank you for working with us on this🥰!

How long is the Wedding Ceremony?

We expect it to last 50-55 minutes from processional to recessional!

What will happen between Ceremony and the Dinner Reception?

Answer

Because we will see each other for the first time down the aisle, we will be taking photos during the extended cocktail hour (4:15-6:15). During that time, we will have drinks, lots of hors d’œurvres and a variety of board games, card games, and lawn games. We’re mildly jealous we will be late to the (cocktail) party!
