Some love stories are slow burns. Ours wasn't. We found each other at Radford University, and it started the way most good things in college do. Andrew showed up uninvited to a friend's house for a laid back night in, and it turned out to be exactly where he was supposed to be. What began as small talk turned into real conversation. The kind that makes you lose track of time and wonder how you'd never crossed paths before. What followed was a friendship, deep and genuine, built on late nights and easy laughter. And somewhere along the way, we fell in love. What our closest friends could see long before we said it out loud, we were simply made for each other. Seven years later, we have woven our lives together through everything. The stillness of a pandemic, the uncertainty of first careers, Becca's pursuit of her master's degree, and a leap of faith to Port St. Lucie, Florida, where we are happily building the foundation of our life together. Every chapter has deepened us. Every challenge has brought us closer. And now, we are so ready for this next one, surrounded by the people we love most.
