Our story began at Canisius College where Andrew was studying for his degree in Finance & Economics. Bailey, who attended Erie Community College at the time, was introduced to Andrew by his roommate at a party but neither of us “made a move” that evening! The following summer, we found ourselves hanging out with a mutual group of friends and Bailey’s warm smile and kind heart captured Andrew’s attention. He picked her up for their first date at Charlie’s Diner in East Aurora and it went so well that we immediately planned a second excursion for the following day. Our second date was a memorable hike at the Niagara Gorge with Andrew spicing things up by getting traffic violations for both speeding and failing to adhere to a yield sign on the way there! Bailey attended SUNY Cortland that fall for Physical Education and despite the distance between us, our love grew with both of us frequently taking weekend trips to see each other. While Bailey had a feeling that Andrew would propose in 2024, she was not expecting it to be in 5-degree weather! Andrew set it up so that a mutual friend asked us to help out in a photoshoot at Emery Park in South Wales on the morning of December 14th. We had done this in the past so it didn’t seem weird at the time, but Bailey found out there was much more going on behind the scenes when Andrew dropped to one knee and proposed! Despite the chilly weather, the sun and snow provided a beautiful backdrop for our engagement and everything came full circle when Andrew took Bailey to Charlie’s Diner for breakfast that morning. We are so thankful for everyone who has been a part of our lives and supported us along the journey to our wedding day. We can’t wait to celebrate our marriage with you on July 25th!
