Ashlynn always says she picked Andrew up twice, and she's right! They first met at Seventh Son brewing when they were both with separate groups of friends that didn't know each other. Ashlynn introduced herself to Andrew, and they talked for just a few minutes. Ashlynn's group of friends then wanted to leave, but Andrew's didn't, so they went their separate ways (although Ashlynn gave her drink to Andrew and told him to finish it)(pre-Covid)). Andrew didn't get Ashlynn's number, and was kicking himself immensely for not doing so. Then came the following Wednesday. You ever hear the saying, what's meant to be, will be? Well that statement came to fruition when Ashlynn saw Andrew on a dating app and decided to message him again. Andrew immediately responded back, and right away did the one thing he failed to do when they first met - ask for her number. Ashlynn laughed and provided it back just as quick as he asked for it, and they began texting non-stop. The following weekend Ashlynn was going to be out of town, so they decided to meet up the following weekend for dinner. Time seemed to slow down over the course of the days they were waiting to go on their first date, so they both said this is silly, and decided to meet up earlier in the week for a drink after work. The connection was instant, and they ended up staying well past their drinks were empty to keep conversation going. They sealed the night with their first kiss, and the rest, as they say, is history.
