We are looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, Oct. 24th when everyone is hopefully able to travel, healthy and in good spirits. Your health and safety are our the most important thing for us. Here's what we've done so far. 1. If the weather is nice, we'll move everything outdoors. so bring a jacket if it's clear but brisk. 2. We've increased distance among the tables. Besides general reserved tables for family, there's no assigned seating. 3. We'll put hand sanitizer everywhere. Use it whenever you're about to move to a new location or doing something new. Every chance you get, wash your hands. 4. We have asked all guests to be fully vaccinated to attend. 4. With a heavy heart, the bride is forgoing the money dance. 5. If you forget your mask, we'll have some provided. Please use them indoors when not eating or drinking. 6. If you feel sick or under the weather, please rest and stay at home. We will hang out when you feel better.
The actual story is he started a conversation to defend the 1993 film Cool Runnings against a flippant remark I made. In the movie, four Jamaicans form their countries first ever Bobsled team to compete in the upcoming 1988 Winter Olympics. They enlist the help of a disgraced former Olympic gold winner to reluctantly coach them. However, when they reach Canada they're treated as outsiders by the other teams, who fear they'll only succeed in embarrassing the sport, which is very much like our budding romance story. Ok, not really. That was more like a chain of great dates, conversations and moments while watching JCVD action flicks.
