Denton Square
Close to the venue with a variety of places to eat and drink, along with a few shops. Angela went to this area a lot while she was in college. Some of her favorite spots were LSA Burger, Jupiter House, Komodo Loco, Paschall Bar, Beth Marie, and Oak Street Draft house.
Historic Downtown Grapevine
We love meeting up with friends and family here to eat at one of the many restaurants on the street, or grab a glass of wine at one of the wineries. There is also a variety of charming shops to explore. Great for a relaxing afternoon or evening!
The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden
April is the perfect time to visit the arboretum! We enjoy going here when the weather is nice and having picnics.
Fort Worth Stockyards
If you make it over to Fort Worth definitely check out the Stockyards! There is a variety of restaurants and bars along with country line dancing, and a cattle drive twice a day.
Sundance Square
Angela went here a lot when she was growing up, especially around Christmas time when they would put up their 82 foot tree in the square. Many options of places to eat in the area and great place to take a relaxing walk around the Water Gardens.
