We're getting married!

Allyson and Andrew went to Texas A&M at the same time, graduated a day apart, and never managed to meet each other. Although they shared many friends at A&M, they never crossed paths until God made a way (AKA Hinge). After finding out they had many mutual friends and went to the same church, Andrew asked Allyson on a date to Curra's in Hyde Park. Being both of their first Hinge date experiences, they did not know what to expect. But after hearing Allyson explain how wonderfully the date went, Allyson's roommate Maddie confidently bet they'd get married, asking for credit for "calling it". While funny at the time, she turned out to be right. Here's your credit, Maddie! In September of 2023, they made things official. The first months of their relationship were spent going to movies, holiday parties, working remotely together, skiing with Andrew's family, and becoming friends with each other's amazing friends and family. They spent these months falling in love, and said this to each other in February 2024 (Andrew a little before Allyson, but that's a story for a different time). In the last year and a half of their relationship, they've become best friends through the mundane, monumental, difficult, and joyful moments. Through it all, they realized they have not only fallen in love with each other more, but have fallen in love with Jesus more and more because of each other. They realize they want to follow Him together forever, and are so excited to get married!!!
