Are children allowed?

Answer

As much as we love you and your children, we cannot accommodate anyone under the age of 21 due to venue capacity. We appreciate you making childcare arrangements, and we encourage you to use this night as a night to relax and have fun!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, we cannot accommodate a plus one for every person. If you receive a plus one, they will be listed on your invitation.

Is there going to be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have a selection of beer, wine, and spirits. The drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you ;)

What time should I arrive?

Answer

With the ceremony starting at 4:30, we would highly recommend arriving 15-30 minutes before so you can get comfortably situated. No late guests will be allowed into the ceremony.

The Revel Center has free parking on site.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up! Dress code will be semi formal/formal. Please no jeans, t shirts, flip flops. Please feel free to dress as fancy as you would like :)

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the Revel Center indoors. Ceremony will be downstairs, and then flipped to a reception area. While the flipping is taking place, please join us upstairs for cocktail hour. There is an outside area with a fire that will be open at night.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are requesting an unplugged ceremony, meaning please no pictures during the ceremony. We will have a professional photographer taking a lot of pictures during the ceremony, but during the reception please take as many as you would like!

Where should I stay if I am traveling?

Answer

We have blocked off a certain number of rooms at the Embassy hotel and the Radisson hotel, both links to book at these hotels are in the "Travel" tab on our website. If you do not want these two choices, there are plenty of other hotel options in Grand Rapids.
