ARRIVING TO LIMA: Please consider getting some cash in local currency. Safer places to exchange are the banks but there is an exchange place at the airport and/or several exchange stores in Miraflores. Average exchange rate is 3.6 nuevos soles = 1 dolar. * We will try to provide 2 shuttles on Friday morning - from the airport to any of the recommended hotels. Pls, contact us providing your flights and hotel arrangements so we can suggest the best arrangement for you. * If the shuttle time does not work for you, any airport taken INSIDE the airport are safe. We could help you to get "recommended" taxi drivers if needed. * Lima has a great variety of restaurants: from tasty local food to great fusion representations. However, for the "finer" foodies, Lima has 2 of the "2023 Best Restaurants in the world": Maido (6th position) & Central (THE #1).
