Andrew and Abigail met at Grace Fellowship Church the summer of 2023. Both had an established mutual respect for each other knowing that their best friend was Atlas, Tyler and Jen’s dog that the both of them had watched at different times. This was what gave them a kickstart to their friendship. Then in the fall of 2024 they had started spending more time with each other in group settings and became close friends. Any volunteer opportunity that there was at the church they found themselves serving in the same way on a regular basis. Outside of serving they would see each other every week for pizza night at the Morton’s house. At the Mortons the both of them discovered their competitive spirits and hospitable hearts. Abigail found herself telling people: “Andrew is the kind of guy you pray for”. She hadn’t considered that he was the guy that she had been praying for. They both had admired their love for the Lord, their heart to serve with a “can do” attitude and sense of humor. In any group event they found themselves gravitating towards each other and wanting to make sure weekends were open so that they could do anything together. As feelings started to grow and they both realized they were getting invested they didn’t want to mess up their friendship. Andrew found himself setting Abigail as the standard among godly women. It finally clicked for him, Abigail was the type of woman every guy looks for. During the same time the Lord had put it on Abigail’s heart, that “He (Andrew) was too good of a friend to lose and too wonderful of a guy not to consider.” Andrew prayed about what it should look like to pursue Abigail while building up the courage to ask her on a date. He was almost certain he wanted to marry her and after their first date, everything was confirmed. The phrase “when you know you know” became the theme of their relationship on July 21, 2024. Both of them are excited to step out in this new season and see all that the Lord has for them. But also, it's crazy it's happening! God is so good!
