If you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere and the dirt road seems a little questionable, then yes, you are in the right place! You should see an old, one-room schoolhouse once you turn onto Vess Rd. Just keep driving, and the Mohicans will be on the right.
Just think, if you would pack it for a camping trip, you would probably need it here. All treehouses and cabins come with working kitchens. Feel free to bring any cooking/food items that you would intend to use. Otherwise, you can head into town for a bite to eat. Also, fire pits are available for each housing option, as well as a wood shed. However, you should bring your own wood, as the wood sheds are stocked by guests. Lastly, outdoor coal grills are placed throughout the venue, but you must bring your own coal.
If you know anything about us, you know that we are far from fancy. With that being said, we love comfort and want everyone else to be comfortable throughout the night. We ask that you be formal for the ceremony, but bring something comfortable to change into. We're talking flannels, sweatshirts, campfire attire. There will be a time during the reception when you can go change into something more casual. Even the wedding party will be changing into sweatshirts!
The venue has been reserved for Thursday and Friday night, so this depends on how many nights you have reserved your cabin/treehouse for. Check-in will most likely be around 2:00 - 3:00pm. Further information will be emailed to you when you book your treehouse/cabin.
The Mohicans kindly asks that you be out of your treehouse/cabin by 10:00am. Further information will be emailed to you when you book your treehouse/cabin.
