He lived in New Mexico and she lived in Texas. Through God's timing and direction, they both ended up in the same Bible study at the same time. They both shared a few conversations after Sunday school on the way to their cars. Little did she know, he had memorized her license plate number so he could park next to her and make the conversation last longer. One day after Sunday school the whole class went out to eat and they had a chance to really get into a conversation. He asked her what she did for fun. She replied, "workout, go for walks, and play oculus". He does research in virtual reality, so thought this was his big chance to connect with her. He mentioned his research and she said, "oh that's cool". He thought he lost his shot. A few days later, she decided to strike up a conversation with him outside of church. After stalking him on Facebook, she finally found him and messaged "Super random...but what were some of those free VR games you were telling me about that one time?" This started a string of conversations that went on for about a week. Throughout the week he tried to ask her out, but situations stopped him in his tracks. Finally after Sunday school, during their walk to their cars, he finally seized his moment and asked her out to lunch. They went to Koppe Bridge, talked for hours, and went out for dessert at Minuti Coffee where they found their shared love for coffee. From that day their love grew stronger and stronger, as God brought them closer and closer, creating the beautiful relationship they have today.
