Are my kids allowed to come?

Answer

(Everyone is invited to the Mass!) As much as Maria and Andrew love kids, we unfortunately are unable to accommodate all for dinner. Please check the RSVP portal for expected accommodations or ask the bride if you need an accommodation

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

When you go to RSVP, it will show what guest is invited with you. If you have a plus one, his/her name will show up along with yours. Please only bring those accounted for under your RSVP. Reach out to Maria and Andrew with questions!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask our guests to dress in semi-formal attire for our special day! Please, no jeans or casual wear. Come in something that makes you feel confident, and that allows your to tear up the dance floor!

What if I've never been to a Catholic wedding before or it's been a while?

That is OK! There will be detailed programs to guide you. If you have specific questions, please reach out to Maria and Andrew.

Are the wedding and reception at the same location?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception are at different locations. It is a 20 minute drive from the wedding ceremony at the Basilica of Saint John (1915 University Avenue, Des Moines, IA 50314) to Saints John and Paul (1401 1st Avenue South, Altoona, IA 50009).
