In the Fall of 2018, the two were both at Clemson, Lauren was starting her senior year, and Andrew was beginning his Master's in Accounting. They met while watching a Clemson football away game together with friends, and instantly hit it off. Two weeks later they were dating! After graduation, Lauren and Andrew moved to Greenville and the rest is history!

Andrew had just celebrated his 26th Birthday on Febuary 5th, and had convinced Lauren that they were going to take a day trip back to Clemson to celebrate. The plan had been to walk around downtown, then go to their favorite restaurant, Blue Heron. Andrew brought Lauren to the Waterfront Park where the two would frequently go on walks throughout Lauren's senior year. He lead her to the docks, where he got down on one knee to propose, and she said yes!
