Maid of Honor
Alyssa and I have been friends from birth, well even before birth. Our parents were friends and kinda forced us to hang out and get along, but we really had no problem with that. Alyssa is one of the funniest people I know. Alyssa is the kind of friend that will ALWAYS show up when you need her, with a cup of coffee in hand and a good time waiting to be had. Some of my favorite memories with Alyssa was eating lunch everyday together in high school and the tears of laughter that were made in the halls of our school walking to and from classes. I am so honored to have Alyssa in my life and could not ask for a better sister and friend to stand by my side.
Best Man
He's been my best man for 23 years now. My brother has always been by my side and it is the greatest privilege and honor for him to be nearest me. John is an incredible father. He’s one of the smartest people I know and is always hardworking and disciplined. If physics interests you, he’s the guy to talk to.
Bridesmaid
I meet Jenna my last year in college, even thought you would think we have know each other our entire lives. My first interaction with Jenna was her bursting through our college house door yelling "Heres Jenna" and form the moment I know we would be GREAT friends. From all the nights filled with tears of laughter, tears of pain, memories form traveling states, snapchat videos, and someone breaking into our home while in the basement, Jenna is the girl that you will want by your side in life. So honored and excited to have such a great friend as Jenna.
Groomsman
Patrick aka muscles. One of my college roommates and best friends. He is humble, hardworking, and huge. Patrick is a solid friend to have and has always remained close like a brother. Patrick is the most encouraging person I know, and I always look forward to our conversations. Fun fact: Patrick’s favorite memory with me was the funeral we held for our pet rabbit. RIP Raven :(
Bridesmaid
I meet Jenny our freshman year of college, but her name has never really been Jenny. The first time I meet her I ditched her name and told her she was going to be called Jwoww, and no one has looked back since. Jwoww is one of my most talented friends. She sets her mind to something, and does it. She is afraid of nothing and no one. I look up to Jwoww is so many ways. She has taught me to be bold in who I am, stand up for myself and be the best person that I can do. I am so honored to have Jwoww in my life.
Groomsman
Brett was one of my roommate’s for two years, and is one of the funniest guys I know. We have a lot of inside jokes and dance moves which point to our rich friendship history. My favorite memory with Brett was going to church in the snow one time. I lost control of the car and we swerved into the opposite lane of traffic and hit an exciting 180 degree turn. After settling, we calmly did a U-turn and continued on to church where we heard a great message.
Bridesmaid
Lindsay has been in my life for 28 years. Not that I really had a choice at the start of her being my older sister, but once I was old enough to see how amazing she was, I NEVER wanted to leave her side. I would copy everything she did. I am so honored to have an older sister that loves me for me and always listens to me. I could share so many heartfelt memories with my sister but one that stands out the most in my childhood is when she was "babysitting" me and convinced me to go down laundry shoot just to see what would happen. That was the last time I was left along at home with Lindsay. I am so blessed to have an older sister like Lindsay always by my side and encouraging me along the way.
Groomsman
I met Jacob our senior year of high school when visiting Liberty University on a recruiting trip. Since, he has been my closest friend. He’s the guy you want on your team in volleyball and Bible trivia, and his humor is second to none. Fun fact: Jacob has patiently chosen to wait until marriage to try ketchup. Fun fact #2: Jacob will be marrying his fiancé, Alexis, (and trying ketchup) on September 27th.
Bridesmaid
Emily and I actually meet before we even know it. I traveled to Arizona to visit my brother and sister in law and stayed in Emilys room while she was away. That was 5 years ago and we still go back and laugh about this time. Emily is someone that you want at your party. She cares so deeply for others and always plans a good time. Emily and I had been roommates for almost two years before she moved out to get married herself and our late night kitchen conversation, night swimming and crazy photoshoots are just some of the memories that we have shared. Emily has been by my side since day one always the voice of reason and is great at talking me off a ledge when I need it most.
Groomsman
A friend I look up to in so many ways. Andrew is one of the most godly individuals I know and is the friend you want in your corner. My favorite memory with Andrew was a trip to NY where we got lost twice in one night, and saw God do something incredible at the end of the weekend. Fun Fact: Andrew loves Jesus and Andrew Eves
Bridesmaid
Rachael and I are new friends but that does not discount our love and depth that we have had from the very start. I meet Rachael in Arizona in a transitional period. Rachael is the sweetest person that you will ever meet. She has a gift of connection and showing people love no matter what. She had made made me and shaped me to be more like Christ Everyday. Our friendship started by getting into a car, driving around the state of Arizona for days at a time delivering food to our neighbors in need. I am so honored to have someone like Rachael in my life, and that came into it just at the perfect time when God know I needed her most. You will have to ask Rachael about her first impression of me, and our connection to North Korea.
Groomsman
My roommate of three years in college. A valued friend and former teammate. I am grateful to have had Eli by my side most of college (literally). I think we spent more time laughing together than studying and getting sleep! Fun fact: “I got engaged before Andrew and yet he is still getting married first” Favorite memory: Eli and I share many great memories including pranking our other roommates, spring break trips, and exploring prohibited buildings/sites.
