Celebrate with Us!

We would like to cordially invite you to our wedding reception on Sunday, October 27th in Paoli, PA. Our actual wedding ceremony will be a few weeks prior with immediate family only due to a few physically limiting factors. And while we wish everyone could come to the ceremony, we will just have to make up for it on 10/27 when we finally get to celebrate with all of our dearest friends and family! Once upon a time in the far away land of avocados, wine, and BART trips, the story of Katie and Andrew began. They were living in the land where everyone leaves their heart, San Francisco. These two strangers were embracing their youth using a tech start-up's latest creation that helps promote human relationship building: Tinder. This progressive, soon-to-be couple, (while sadly not making the millennial cutoff birth year) swiped their final right. In reality, while the words "trendy," "hip," and "cutting edge" are adjectives not often heard describing this hot item, they saw the genius in each other that this silly world was clearing missing, and they fell fast in love exploring the sleepy hills of Big Sur, the heavenly mountains of Lake Tahoe, and the rugged beauty of Yosemite. And as many a love story go, in a few years’ time, they moved to a land even farther away. They moved far, far away from sunny California where the weather was perfect, beaches are a plenty, and even the homeless are good looking. Yes, they left the land of milk and honey for the land of cheese and steaks as their love swept them blissfully to the equally posh County of Delaware, PA so they could live in harmony while building student loan debt and de-icing car windshields again. Fast forward another two years and this adventurous duo found themselves in Puerto Rico, the “Island of Enchantment.” There on top of the tallest tower, on top of the tallest peak, standing under the most crystal-clear blue sky the Caribbean can offer and over the lush green El Yunque rainforest, Andrew finally found what he was looking for. After purposefully tiring Katie out with an arduous 2,000 ft vertical climb through thick jungle heat, he was finally able to convince her to marry him. While one might think that this is the end of the two lovers tale, it is only just the beginning…
