During the midst of COVID, the two of us matched on a dating app (social distancing)! He caught me hook, line, and sinker with multiple fishing jokes. We made plans to meet in person and he put up with my requests like meeting at a neutral location instead of my apartment (safety first)! He took me to El Loro in Waite Park, and we hit it off from the start! The plan was to just go out for lunch, but we spent the entire day together. We went back to the SCSU campus (the neutral location) and walked along the Mississippi River. Once we got to the end of the trail, he caught me by surprise and started to slow dance with me. It felt like the world stopped and we were the only two left. Shortly after, he dealt with me complaining back to our cars since we were downhill and it was very hot out. We ended our date by going to Culvers for a treat to cool us off!

I came home stressed from working overtime and Andrew was already prepping dinner. I started to help since we also had a movie date planned that night as well. I was busy telling him about my day as we were getting dinner ready. I had my back turned to him as I was reaching for glasses for our drinks. I turned around and I was stunned. He was on one knee in our kitchen asking me to spend the rest of my life with him. Of course, I said YES! The wedding is just a month shy of our fifth anniversary! We are so glad that you are joining us as we embark on the next chapter of our lives!
