The Short North Arts District is home to over 300 businesses, including galleries, restaurants, boutiques, coffee shops, and rooftop bars. Many of these businesses are locally owned or headquartered, and the neighborhood also has many women-owned, LGBTQ+-owned, and Black-owned shops and restaurants. The Short North is also known for its street art and sculptures, and visitors can take a Gallery Hop on the first Saturday of each month.
Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is Central Ohio’s premier botanical garden and home to the iconic John F. Wolfe Palm House which dates back to 1895. Situated just east of Franklin Park, the Conservatory is approximately two miles from downtown Columbus.
