We went here for one of our very first dates!
We love the story behind this distillery! They have a great tour that talks through the history of Nearest Green, the enslaved Black man that taught Jack Daniel everything he knew. It's about 45 minutes outside of Nashville proper, but f you have some extra time in town, we can't suggest this place enough!
Humble Baron is the restaurant & bar attached to the Nearest Green Distillery! Andrew and I have seen live music here and it is a blast! The food and drinks are top notch too.
The farmer's market is a lovely place to spend a weekend morning in case you need to do something the morning of the wedding!
Fifth & Broadway is one of the few things that can get Andrew and I downtown, lol. If you want to sample a lot of local food and get in some good shopping, this is a one stop shop.
The Mother Church has one of the most fun tours that you can find in Nashville! And depending on how long you're in town, you might be able to catch a show here too!
We love Cheekwood for beautiful daytime strolls, chances to see the turtles, the art gallery, and for those of you with kids, their playground with built in mini trains!
They say that Nashville is the Athens of the south. I don’t know about that, but Centennial Park and the Parthenon are funny little attraction. Also Vanderbilt University is right across the street!
