Wedding Party

Meet our friends and family who will be walking down the aisle with us!

Ali Misun

Matron of Honor

They say every brunette needs a blonde best friend – and I guess I am no exception. We met as awkward crazy freshman in high school and have grown into slightly less awkward but still crazy best friends. Most of our adult friendship as been long distance, but that has not stopped us from picking up right where we left off in any phone call or visit. Late night convertible rides through the country and subway runs in high school have turned into mid-day margarita binges and dancing with our pets in adulthood; but two things have always stayed constant – the soundtrack of Beyonce and our laughter is always in the background.

Courtney Bender

Bridesmaid

Quite literally one of the people that has known me the longest. While I know our early years was filled with her thinking of me as her annoying little sister (and I am sure she still thinks that from time to time), we have grown to be true friends. We may differ in more things than we have in common, but our undying support for one another is always there. Being sisters, we have so many shared memories and moments that no one else can quite understand.

Emily Lockard

Bridesmaid

A New Yorker and a Wisconsinite walk into a bar, Blue Moon in Madison WI to be exact, and while they argue about bagels and cheese curds, they come out as friends. Being next to each other in apartments and cadaver lab in vet school, it was inevitable we would end up close. Our friendship really grew over our shared love for how well drinks and dancing always pair so well together. I’ll always come “knock-knock”ing on your door!

Dani Hart

Bridesmaid

I am glad Dani took a chance on me when taking me on as a random roommate our first year of veterinary school together. Our friendship grew over the hard times of late-night study crams and early coffee runs, and the good times of darts at Red Shed, sunsets at the Terrace, and weekend game nights. Before Andrew took over the job, Dani was the one to help keep me calm when I am over thinking and remind me to eat an actual balanced meal the first couple years of vet school. Madison will always be a home for me, and Dani is a big part of that.

Leah Quinn

Bridesmaid

Started from the bottom, now we’re here. That is if the bottom is kindergarten and here is Leah standing by me for my wedding day. Our friendship started over chocolate milk and dino chicken nuggets and it continues till this day… only with better food and coffee. While life as pulled us in different directions, we have always been there to support one another and watch each other grow as we go through this crazy thing called life together.

Steven Eitzer

Best Man

Steven is Andrew’s longest standing friend. Like most younger brothers, this sort of happens by default. But Steven is so much more than a younger sibling to Andrew. He is his most trusted confidant. Whether they are watching movies or sports together, drinking beers at as many local breweries as they can, or challenging each other to a friendly combat in a video game, this brotherly rivalry is nothing but love. It was an easy choice to make Steven his best man, he always has been, and always will be.

Frank Romano

Groomsman

Frank and Andrew met while in veterinary school. In a class of 99 people, 87 of which were female, it wasn’t easy to find someone with a lot in common. Luckily, they quickly recognized how much they did have in common, both in school and outside of it. This friendship became so strong, that Frank living in Atlanta was a huge part of Andrew’s decision to move down there, too. Frank is always there for Andrew, and Andrew is always there for Frank. A partnership that makes Frank an easy choice to stand beside Andrew on his and Bailee’s big day.

Mason Saari

Groomsman

If it wasn’t for Mason, Andrew and Bailee may have never met. Andrew and Mason became friends while Andrew was doing his internship in Wisconsin. One of the most genuine people in Andrew’s life, their impromptu hangouts turned into a near weekly thing. One day, Mason suggested they go to the local watering hole, The Blue Moon, to celebrate one his classmate’s birthdays. Bailee happened to be there that night, and, though she was too nervous to talk to him much that night, a little liquid courage came around the next day, and the rest is history.

Bobby Johnson

Groomsman

Another relationship borne of friendship from Mason, Andrew met Bobby through a monthly meet up of minds called Handsome Happy Hour. Those monthly meetings became more frequent between Andrew and Bobby, as things tend to happen when you become neighbors. Hangouts at the pool and the hot tub, as well continued attendance at Handsome Happy Hour, made this friendship blossom into what it is today. On the wedding day, expect to find him tearing up the dance floor!

Michael Maldonado

Groomsman

Yet another friend met through Mason, Michael is one of the founders of Handsome Happy Hour. As almost anyone who meets him does, Andrew gravitated towards the always affable Michael, who welcomed him to the group with open arms. They often bonded over their affinity for sports, cocktails, and mustaches. Andrew can always trust on Michael to help him with his golf swing, organize a guys’ trip to visit a displaced friend, or even just be there for a pick-me-up drink.

Shawna and Alex

Officiant

Andrew met Shawna and her husband Alex because they went through the same grueling internship after veterinary school. And what did not kill them, made them stronger and closer. Once Andrew started dating Bailee, she was quickly brought into the group. We have grown together over our many movie nights filled with gummy worms and buncha crunch, and our game nights playing dominos or mario party. Over the years they have become very dear friends and a role model for a strong, happy, successful marriage that Andrew and Bailee look up to.
