Question
What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?
Answer
We'll be arranging for shuttles to pick up guests from their hotels to our wedding venue. A 28-person shuttle bus will be picking guests up from the Courtyard by Marriott New Haven Wallingford, and a 24-person shuttle bus will be picking up guests from the Fairfield Wallingford Meridan. Pick up times are approximately 3:50 pm (venue drop off 4:10 pm) and 4:30 pm (drop off 4:50 pm). If you intend to take the shuttle to the venue, please plan accordingly and be aware that 4:30 pm is the final pick up time. Shuttles will also be accessible by phone should guests wish to return to their hotels at any point before the end of the reception. To get a ride outside of the scheduled pickup times, call either Mike at 860-805-9075 or Tiana at 860-709-7421 to be picked up. *Please only contact on the day of the wedding* There will be a scheduled pick up from both shuttles at the end of our reception at 11 pm to return guests to their hotels, with one final pickup around 11:30 pm.

What if I miss the shuttle?
Answer
If you happen to miss the shuttle, you are welcome to take an Uber to the venue or drive yourself, as there is ample parking available. For guests who wish to enjoy drinks at the event, you may leave your cars overnight and pick them up on Saturday.

Am I allowed to bring my children?
Answer
We love your children, but due to space restrictions, we are only able to accommodate a very small number of family members under the age of 18 on our wedding day. Your wedding invitation will indicate how many seats we have reserved in your honor. We appreciate your understanding!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Answer
Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can't afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation.

There is ample parking available at the wedding venue.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
To ensure maximum comfort for our guests in the heat of summer, we are hosting both our ceremony and reception indoors.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
Answer
Yes, we have reserved hotel blocks at two local hotels (Courtyard by Marriot New Haven Wallingford & Fairfield Wallingford Meriden). Please see the Travel page of our wedding website to get access to special booking rates!

When should we arrive?
Answer
Guests may begin arriving at our wedding venue starting at 4:15 pm. Please plan to arrive no later than 4:50 pm, as we will be starting the ceremony promptly at 5 pm.

The closest airports to our venue include New Haven (HVN) Airport which is 23.9 miles away and Hartford (BDL) Airport (25.6 miles away).

Are there any colors or styles you'd prefer me to wear?

While not required, family members are welcome to join us in wearing our wedding color, emerald green.

I'm hoping to travel with my pet. Are there pet-friendly hotel options?
Answer
Unfortunately, the hotels that we've reserved room blocks for are not pet-friendly. However, we're happy to recommend the Homewood Suites Hotel.
