Can my child come to the wedding?

Answer

While we would love everyone to enjoy a child free evening, we also love your children and would welcome them to be a part of our special day. All children are welcome for the ceremony and cocktail hour. The reception will be 10+, but we will have child care on site for those younger.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Garden Party Formal/Cocktail. Think Kentucky Derby without the fancy hats. The ceremony will be outside and you will need to walk across a patch of grass to get to and from it.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Help us get the party started on time! We recommend you arrive around a half an hour before the ceremony starts.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes, call the Fairfield Inn and Suites Frederick at (301) 631-2000 and use "Shaver Puente-Duany Wedding" to get the reserved room rate!

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair friendly?

Answer

Yes! There is a small patch of grass to cross to get to and from the ceremony space, but the cocktail hour and reception spaces are wheelchair accessible, including an elevator to transport you from one to the other.

Will there be food and drinks during the cocktail hour?

Answer

Yes! There will be a small bar and a selection of appetizers to tide you over until dinner.

Will transportation be provided to and from the hotel and the venue on the day?
