Brooke and Jessica lived next to each other in the dorms at UCSC. By walking together to math class they became great friends! In the following year, while roommates, Brooke and Jessica worked in a herpetology lab. Their love of reptiles and biology led Jessica to adopt a pet snake and Brooke two geckos!

The oldest of the Estrada brothers Miguel used to orchestrate photo shoots and direct home movies. One time he Andres to act like he was getting beat up during a photo shoot! :)

They have been friends since they were 2 years old!! These two are very goofy together! They share fun memories of Jessica visiting Davis to go to parties (and watch a few cows being born!), of camping trips where they decided to act like mermaids, and of having balloon and silly string wars in Adriana's parents house!

Anthony is the middle sibling and he knows how to scare Andres. One time he hid under the bed while Irma read Andres a bedtime story. After the story was over and Irma had left, Anthony crept his head up from under the bed and grabbed Andres'! Good one Anthony!!

They met in high school and quickly became a close-knit group of four with Natalie and Adriana. Back then they thought a fun time included interrupting the boys poker and video game night by coming over uninvited and being so loud they got kicked out! Now Jessica and Veronica enjoy a love of nature, dogs, and hiking together!

Garrett and Jessica are siblings! With Jessica being 5 years his senor, she used to pick on him. Then he learned to make a devise from wires and batteries that could give you a little shock. Garrett got back at Jessica by chasing her around the house and electrocuting her!
Victor & Irma Estrada

He's an artist and she's a planner. Both made a career out of teaching and both recently retired! After a trip to Italy in 2018, Victor and Irma are following it up with travels to France and Spain. They made sure Andres visited many museums, read many books, went to see family in Arizona and Texas when he was growing up.

Maggie and Garrett are newly engaged! While Maggie has been part of the Midbust family for years, it’s finally going to be official! Maggie has a great sense of humor and is a blast to be around. Their dog Frodo is clearly very bonded to his mommy, Maggie, and follows her everywhere! We’ve made great memories watching the dog cousins roughhouse together!

Jason, Jessica, and Andres all met for the first time in grad school in Santa Barbara but they didn't become close friends until after grad school when they all moved to the Bay Area. It was there that they learned they loved to camp, backpack, cook, talk about cooking, eat, and talk about eating with each other. The rest is history!

Growing up Marty and Maria took Jessica and Garrett to Trinity and Shasta for camping trips all the time! This is how Jessica's love of the outdoors began! When Jessica was a kid, Marty played a secret video of her singing to herself to her friends at her birthday party! She was mortified, but now she laughs about it. Maria loves to bake and always made sure Jessica had a special dairy free treat at school events!
