Maid of Honor
My friendship with Myra began in our early adult years, navigating life as young lasses fresh out of school and in a new city. Our love of art and textiles initially brought us together and we found that we are kindred spirits at heart. She is a role model of mine who exudes warmth, grace, talent, and authenticity.
Maid of Honor
My sister, my ride or die, my dancing buddy, championship cornhole partner, and person who I can always count on to tell me like it is. She has kept me on my toes since '94. Her energy, friendliness, and spicy humor can seriously brighten any room. She's a character as Mama Kay would say and I love her fiercely.
Matron of Honor
My friendship with Carly began in the second grade when she moved in two doors down and started attending the same school as me. There are not many memories I have of my childhood without Carly there with me. She's my band mate, magazine writing, club house founding, karaoke singing, partner in life. She loves deep, has a heart of gold, and can make me laugh like no other.
Bridesmaid
Tay Tay is a cousin of mine who is more like a sister. Our friendship goes back to prenatal times when our moms were pregnant together and we would high five each other through their bellies. We grew up inseparable, creating our own secret language, making up all kinds of dance routines, and driving our parents (and grandparents) as crazy as we could with Abby in tow.
Bridesmaid
Rachel and I met on our first day of kindergarden and we hit it off instantly. I liked art, she liked math and science. She was the tallest in class, I was the shortest. We found balance in each other and created a lifelong friendship. She is the smartest, kindest, and most humble person I know, and I don't know what I would do without her.
Bridesmaid
Farida is a great friend of mine. We lived in the same apartment complex in Dallas for years. She is super smart and down to earth. She can make anyone feel comfortable, gives the best advice, and is the BEST travel partner. She’s a true-blue friend and I’m the luckiest to have her in my life!
Bridesmaid
I met Heidi in our Freshman year of college in Savannah. She lived next door in the dorms and we developed a close friendship throughout our school years. We eventually moved into a haunted house, adopted a mean cat, and had lots of fun together. I've learned so much from her artistic talent and her wonderful free spirit. I cherish her friendship dearly.
Bridesmaid
Ale is a soon to be sister of mine! I am so lucky to be gaining her through this marriage! She is as smart as she is kind and a beam of light to everyone around her. She is a triathlete, hard working environmentalist, and she has even met the pope! I'm so excited to call her family.
Best Man
Jose is a cousin but more like a twin brother. Born only a month apart, we grew up together going to the same school and hanging out with the same group of friends.
